Your bullet and either H110 or 4227 have been good producers for me. I don't remember my charges off hand.

What do you plan to use it for ? hunting, ??? If for hunting then the RD should be better that others that are easy on obtain, with it being in a T/C and their normally long throats you can seat the bullet out longer that you could in a wheel gun, thus being able to load them with more powder.
I've got some data stored away some where that was published in Hand Loader Magazine , I'll see if I can find it, I think they used 296

300 MP from Accurate is the bomb in .357 max.. 1680, and V V n120 are also good. For non max loads 4227 is very accurate.

Lower pressure loads for my Low Wall rifle are 14.0 gr of either 4227 or WC820 with a 200 gr cast bullet.

I used to load 19.5 gr of AR2205 (same as 4227) behind a gas checked CBE 210gn boolit for use in the Dan Wesson for shooting silhouettes.

I occasionally shot the same load in a TC, but after 40 shots out of that lighter gun, my hand sure knew about it!

Sure dropped the 200m rams when it hit!

I used the 190 RD or the Lee GB copy of Lyman 358627 215 gr. boolits. I still have both molds in the 6 cavity version. Both boolits were thumpers on deer out to 175 from my 15" Encore barrel with either 4227 or RL7 in quantities I'm not sure the Contender would handle. I worked up to them in my Encore, but I couldn't fit any more of either powder into the case.

Check out Glen's info as LASC site. I think he did at least one 357 Max article.

Does the 357 Max web site have any cast info . . . I forget

I really like the 357 Super Mag.(Max.) in a TC 10 inch.
For a hunting load I used The Lyman #358627.
It is a 215gr Semi wad cutter with a gas check. It has a Ballistic Coefficient of
.290.
It has two crimp rings so it can also be seated in 357 Magnum cases.
My most accurate load is:
357 Remington Max cases
CCI 400 primers
22gr. H4198
It averaged 1492 fps
I used a taper crimp
It is a bit slow but the recoil is easy.
Three shots went .33 of an inch at fifty yards.
I have been invited on a feral hog hunt this is the outfit and load that I will take.

Yep, he sure did.
Fryxell on the 357 Maximum (http://www.lasc.us/Fryxell357Max.htm)

The load I shoot out of my T/C Super 14 barrel is 16.0 grains of IMR 4227 lit off by a CCI 400 primer pushing the Lyman 358429 boolit.
This is a middle of the road load with that powder and is very accurate out of my barrel.

Lil'Gun has done well for me. About 19 grains with 200 grain GC boolit. Seating depth .330" to fit a non-SAAMI throat I have in mine. Some people complain that it heats the barrel too much, but for a hunting load who cares? Wish I could FIND some 300MP to try, locally. I hate paying that HazMat fee for just a pound or two. Also tried RL-7. 19.6 grains did best, but accuracy with Lil'Gun was better. 4227 too, but also not as accurate as the Lil'Gun loads, and the SD over the Chrony was higher.

I have done well with WW680 and heavy boolits(225 and up), and 2400 with the lighter boolits , in my max rifle. RCBS 35-200 works very well

Is WW680 still available? I haven't been able to find any in a long time.
