the thread about best 22 shots got me wondering, how many of you have owned or had experience with a stevens mod 15 single shot and if your experence is as fond as mine? My grandpa had one and only shot shorts thru it as far as I know. We shot a semi truck load of squrrils and coon with that old rifle.

I have a 15-2 that was bought at a yard sale without a bolt for $2.
It was brought to me for repair. I bought and installed a bolt from Numerich, but the owner didn't want to pay the $50 for the bolt.
I ended up with it. A suprizingly accurate rifle. It will shoot dime-sized groups @ 40 yards with a machine rest.

I love my Stevens Single, although mines a Model 72. ;)
