Some pretty impressive shooting for a stubby cast 200 gr pistol bullet!

Bill he hangs out over at Marlin Owners Forum and I'm pretty sure that is his Marlin with a tang sight. That boy can shoot!

Whoa, I don't really know how to comment on that video. If there was no gimmick, with the wind flags horizontal, that was SPECTACULAR shooting with that gun/load combination!!!

Wow
I'm a huge fan of the .44WCF. I have used BP in the .45 Colt, but not in the .44WCF yet. One day I need to try it.

Would be fun to try, but in addition to a lot of skill, there has to be an element of luck as well at that range in order to have consistanciy.

Awesome shooting!

I can't wait to get my 1873 to the range.

If I'm not mistaken that video was made at the Ridgeway Pa. 1000 yard range. I have been there and shot there. There are international shoots and NRA sanctioned shoots held there. It is a fantastic club. The folks that shoot there know how to shoot. I have seen some really great shooting there. And yes .... many do it standing with no support except for their own 2 feet. They have a full sized buffalo sillouette "Homer" at 1000 yards that will test anyone's skill level. If any members are near enough to go there they should. The BPCR shoots will show you that some old guys can still shoot with iron sights. There are no gimmicks at Ridgeway.
