I load 9.5grs AA#9 behind a Lyman 311576 120 grain RNGC modified to cast .314". Remington 1 1/2 (std) primer in Federal brass. Also 10.5 grs. H-110 behind NOE 125 gr. HPGC. Max load , do not use mag primer, start from 10 percent below. May be excesive with different seating, gun, etc..

Probably a good idea to post what you are shooting them out of also.

.327 GP100
NOE 115gr GC Kieth
6.5 gr Power Pistol

Nice moderate load. Chronographed at one time, can't find that info. I need to be more organized. I think it was about 1150 fps.

I shoot the Lyman 311008 in the Blackhawk and the GP100 327 Federal.
The Lyman 311008 115-grain bullet ahead of the 11.2 grain load of Hodgdon Lil’ Gun chronographed:
1,223 fps from the 4” Ruger GP 141.
1,240 fps from the 5 ½” Ruger Blackhawk.
I found Hodgdon Lil Gun and Alliant 2400 to be flexible with regard to loads in the 327 Federal with the 115-grain bullets. Both powders giving good accuracy in the 327’s.
I prefer heavier bullets for the heavy frame 327 revolvers. I am not trying for highest velocities but looking for penetration on heavy muscled critters such as raccoons and porcupine.
I like the NEI #83 which is a 122-grain bullet which can be called an LBT wanna-be bullet. The NEI #82, 122-grain gas check bullet weighs an average of 130-grains as cast and 133.4 grains lubed and checked.
I also have the NEI # 76 125-grain SWC bullet. The NEI #76, 125-grain gas check bullet weighs an average of 138-grains as cast and 143.0 grains lubed and checked.
With the heavier gas check bullets I prefer Hodgdon Lil Gun and my velocity goals are 1,300 fps or less due to my personal limitatiations with handguns.
The #83 bullet ahead of 11.2 grains of Hodgdon Lil’ Gun chronographed:
1,164 fps from the 4” Ruger GP 141.
The same load chronographed 1,231 fps from the 5 ½” Ruger Blackhawk.

The #76 bullet ahead of 11.2 grains of Hodgdon Lil’ Gun chronographed:
1,166 fps from the 4” Ruger GP 141.
The same load chronographed 1,287 fps from the 5 ½” Ruger Blackhawk.

Alliant 2400 will meet my reduced velocity goals but I believe I do not receive quite as good accuracy with Alliant 2400.
In the 5.5” Blackhawk:
125-grain NEI #75 bullet at 1.650” COAL ahead of 9.2 grains of Alliant 2400 gave me 1,158 fps.
The 122-grain NEI #82 bullet ahead of 9.2 grains of Alliant 2400 at a COAL of 1.565” gave me 1,185 fps.
In the 4” GP100:
125-grain NEI #75 bullet at 1.650” COAL ahead of 9.2 grains of Alliant 2400 gave me 1,103 fps.

The 122-grain NEI #82 bullet ahead of 9.2 grains of Alliant 2400 at a COAL of 1.565” gave me 1,106 fps.
