I'm brand new to casting. I am going to cast RCBS 240 grain boolits and Lyman 240 grain boolits. I am going to use the same primer and powder. Will the two boolit's shoot a different point of impact?

welome to the site.
i would guess they will be close.
hard to say without shooting them both..
as they say, the proof is in the pudding...

I have to agree with waco
you will never know till you shoot them
if all dimensions are the same they may but
even the same boolits in a revo come out of 5 or 6
different cylinders and that will change the poa

Those are both SWC's that weigh basically the same so, why would there be a different point of impact? I use the Lyman 429421 and a custom mold that drops the same weight and they both shoot the same...if I do my part in where I aim.

I'd say, chances are, with the same load they will hit to the same point of impact at practical handgun ranges (probably out to 100 yards in a .44). I regularly switch between different bullets of close to the same weight using the same load in .38s to .45s and can't find any practical change in zeroes.
