Finally made it out to the range today. I shot several different boolits using three different powders on this trip. Rifle shot today is a Savage 110 in 30-06. It has a nice smooth Rifle Basix trigger set just under 2 lbs. It is also fitted on a new Boyds laminate stock that was glass bedded by Ben this week. He did a fantastic job on it and educated me on bedding as well. Below are two of the best groups. These two boolits have always shot well through this rifle, but shoot even better now. If I can only get Ben to teach me to shoot like him, and build myself a better shooting table, I could really show what this rifle is capable of.

You're a lucky man to have Ben's assistance.

I agree. I am blessed to have his knowledge and help so readily available. It is kinda funny. I've known him for years. He is dad to one of my best friends and also was my high school principal. But, I went to him a couple years ago to talk about reloading, after prices of ammo went up and availability went down and all I could afford to shoot often was .22cal. Reloading soon turned to casting. Casting soon turned to rifle mods. I thought I was going to save money somewhere in all of this but Ben just helps me spend it. In all reality, half of the "stuff" on my reloading bench and casting table were supplied by Ben and most of it didn't cost me a dime.
