So I picked up my Bud's special its a 1933 Izhevsk that at first glance look real nice. Its not counterbored but has a fair amount of grease etc on it and until I get it cleaned up can't say much more about it. Number seem to match for the most part.
I just bought 200 brass 7.62 x 54R cases and have two different cast bullets I'll load up for it. Our range does a military bolt action shoot once a month so this will be my entry for it.

I hope you enjoy it a lot. I've got a 1936 Tula Hex that shoots really good. I've not bought dies in 7.62x54 yet though. Its a caliber I think thats worth reloading for.

I have dozens of the mosins in several models as well as Finnish versions and only fire reloaded ammo.Every one is different and a blast to shoot.You will have a ball.Mike
