gave the Loc-tite slow set GEL epoxy a try on a stock repair.
REALLY like the way it worked up n stayed where I put it.
Sanded/finished good and looks good.
read sometime back slow set epoxy is stronger.
Spliced in a 5 inch section of wood to the stock of a new
wesson rifle that has a bug ate stock.
good epoxy

finished with a darker stain to help hide the splice/repair

Yes, generally speaking the slower the cure time the stronger the epoxy. Not a big deal for many applications though.
