Gun show this weekend I have been waiting for. MAN it like waiting for Christmas.
Was the night before the gun show, not a creature was stirring except me. I was tossing and turning like a louse.
The long guns were set in the cabinet with care, in hope that morning would soon be here.
The pistols were nestled all snug in the safe, while vision of new guns dance in my head.
Mamma in her gown kept yelling at me, would you please go to sleep.
When the alarm on the night stand there arose such a clatter, I sprang from my bed and was dressed in a flash.
Then out to the truck I went and down the road I did dash.
In the door I did go, when what to my wander eyes should appear but a Colt .357 held by a fat little guy so lively and quick. I knew at that moment it was my gun dealer Nick.
With cash in hand and my eyes all amidst, I knew my wife would be pi&&ed.
Vendors whistled and shouted and called out brand named. There’s Ruger and Remington, Winchester and Savage, Colt and Tauruas and S&W’s.
There all brand new get yours before they all disappear.
