............The only real pistol type surplus powder I've ever bought has been WC820. Most generally it's compared to Accurate #9. Check Pat's (address up at the top) as he seems to have the widest variety of powders nowadays.

Just checked Jeff Bartlett and he also lists:

#102 A flake type powder, which can be loaded using AA#2 data as published during
the late 1980's. This is one of the first lots of #2 Equivalent as
manufactured by Hercules in the late 1980s. New lot with burning rate similar
to Red Dot. An excellent powder for 12GA target loads. Good pistol powder,
but not recommended for progressive pistol loading machines, as it tends to bridge.
This powder is new.
$50/5# jug.

About half the canister grade price. To bad about the progressive thing though :-(

the old pr200 was the powder your looking for but good luck finding it as its all sold out. Like was said whats out there now isnt good with automatic powder dumps and whos going to weight every charge for a 45acp One option is commercial aa2 which is the same thing as pr200 a little more expensive but still not to overly priced

I like Bartlett's #102 in .45 ACP, .44 Special and .38 Special. I don't load for 9mm. I think it likes a little slower powders best, but the #102 ought to be usable. He used to have #105 that was an equivalent of AA #5. There's also a #7 equivalent that I haven't tried.

aa2 (pr200) works great in 9mms for me. Both the slower powders he sells dont do real well in a powder measure.

Wouldn't a Belding and Mull powder measure handle this with out weighing every charge> Not a progressive but better than wieghing.

Icer, I just looked through my reloading manual and HS6 can be used for both of your listed calibers. This powder is available at Pat's reloading. Load data can be found in the load manuals...Ray
