Hi there everyone, I've done some internet searching and am turning up a little short. I have a Lee 140gr .358 mold i'd like to use double duty for my revolvers and my super sized down. Is there any go to load range I should be looking for, any particular powder? I've got Herco, Red Dot, Bullseye, and a few other less suitable powders like 2400 on hand. Thanks.

I know this is not what you asked, but the Lee 125 RNFP works well in the super and the 38/357 also. It has a decent meplat and would make a good small game boolit. Plus you can get it in a 6 cavity.

i have 2- 38 supers with the Saeco # 929 145gr swc, made for the 38 super. ive had better accuracy with the med to med fast burning rate powders. i would start with Herco powder ! i have no experince with the other powders you listed except BE , but not in the super.
i personaly use WSF /WAP / HS6. Ive had good luck with Power Pistol in the 9mm, but havent tried it in the 38 super. also my guns like the bullets sized to 0.357 dia . one barrel is a Kart the other a Nowlin

I use a 140 gr Lyman RN for plinking in my super and it works, SUPER. Very accurate and no leading at about 900 fps. I size mine to 357 on the nose and it works just right in my Taurus 1911. I am currently using HP38 but I did use bullseye and had no problems. I would note that mst book loads are a little hot and I cut my loads by a whole grain.
