We will offer this bullet in .311", .314", .316" diameters.
One size per block. (No mixing diameter)

This buy is on the schedule.
We will keep the buy open until 2 or 3 weeks before the date on the schedule.
At that time we will close the buy and send out a PM with
a request for payment. We don’t require payment before then.

Prices will be as follows:
Single cavity mould $68.00 Ea.
Double cavity mould $72.00 Ea.
Three cavity mould $79.00 Ea.
Four cavity mould $85.00 Ea.
Five cavity mould $92.00 Ea.
Plus $10.00 Shipping/Handling.
Foreign orders are a additional $10.00 Shipping/Handling.
Prices are subject to change at any time.

You can mix number of cavities in an order to make 5.
We will offer PB and GC on this bullet.

Use LEE Commercial 6-Cavity handles (not included).
Lyman, RCBS type top punch furnished with each mould
as well as a sample of Bull Plate sprue plate lube.
Moulds are machined from 2024 Aluminum
Used for high strength structural and aircraft applications.
Tensile strength range 30,000 to 63,000 psi
Sprue plate (blued), alignment pins, and hardware will be
carbon steel.

Hollow pointing one cavity and furnishing a double
ended pin with pin holder would be $35.00 Extra

I know there were more that 8 on my origional post that said they wanted one.

How does everyone else feel about kicking in a few extra dollars to get this as a SGB on the schedule.
I think it's and extra $ 10.00 for only 5 molds, so 8 of us it would be $ 6.25, and by the time this gets to the mill we should our 15 buyers and the $$ should go back to the origional price

I just found this yesterday and posted to sign up. Swede hasn't updated the list to put me on it yet. More will come I'm sure..

This is already on the schedule for July, would adding the SGB fee get it moved up? If so, I'd be willing. I can't see how it would make a difference to the schedule though...

Ok, this looks as close as we are going to get to my favourite 30 cal bullet the 165gr RCBS so put me down for a 5 holer with GC and drilled for probe.

The first 2 NOE group buy moulds I got came really quick...before we started swamping Swede with all these moulds we want. Ain't that the way it goes...we want him to make all these different moulds, and wonder why it takes a while to get 'em. :veryconfu

IIRC...the custom mould biz is a sideline for Swede...so I think he's doing a great job getting us awesome moulds at great prices! I've waited nearly a year for Lee group buy moulds to get here....and while they were okay, they aren't anything like the works of art we're getting from NOE.

Added some more linotype lead and beagled the mould,so my lead is a bit harder now.
Got the mould 2 nd hand from a mate that was going away from casting boolits(silly man),it did cast a good diameter when he had it,around the .313 mark or so.,quite happy for $10 :) :)

yes, they work, at least with mil surp. Dillon has them in the new catalog $120 plus shipping.

My local dealer got one, and we fitted it to my 59/66 for a test run. He even provided the ammunition. Fed flawlessly, and yes! it came home with me. I wish this buy was complete and I had my mould. I can't wait to see if this boolet is going to feed as well as the j-stuff.

doesn't look like your on it. you need to email Swede the diameter - number of cavities and any special wants like (3GC 2PB) three Gas checked and 2 plain base or drill for thermometer probe.

I have got to have this mold!!! I am using the LEE one now and I load those in my 30-30 bolt, SKS and my Mosin. All with good results. .312 is a wee bit small though.
Plus I bet this would work in the 300 Black out.

This looks like the kinda thing I need for my over size Polish M44.
A .316" with a HP & GC would bee cool......But I must addmit to being illiterate to all the technical terms used here.
Drilled for probe?
RG4?
SGB?
Makes me leary of ordering if I don't know what it is.

Drilled for probe means the block will have a hole for a temperature probe. A thermometer is available from NOE that allows you to closely monitor mould temp.

RG4 is a 4 cavity mould with captive hollow point pins. Also available in 2 cavity (RG2). This feature is not always available-depends on the mould.

SGB = small group buy...not applicable to this particular buy.

I'm interested in getting a rifle mold for a couple of .308s I own. Is this a good boolit for the .308 if I order .311" diameter and GC? With a crimp groove like the one in the drawing, will a roll crimp be necessary?

Lefty SRH, have you slugged your bore/throat of the rifle you want to use it in? .311 should be fine but sometimes you have to size down or up to match your gun. Crimp groove was because the bullet was designed for use in AK and SKS in 7.62x39 which semi-auto's tend to try and shove the boolit back into the case when loading violently into the chamber - you don't have to crimp if your using a bolt action generally speaking.

I got mine today also, the first thing I noticed was that the set screws have been moved from the ends of the mold to the sides which is a great improvement because eventually the sprue plate pivot screw will work loose and need tightening and the set screw tightened as well and it is a real pain in the fingers working close to a very hot mold.
As usual outstanding construction and many thanks to those that helped make this GB a reality.
Now , if we can just do something about those man hole cover size holes in the sprue plates.
Here's a thought, offer blank sprue plates [no holes] for sale :bigsmyl2:

I recall asking about a few blanks, seams :veryconfu the SP's are bought in "bulk" so there is no options.
I just installed an Alum SP with .100 holes, going to give it a try with a 3-1 mix.

I was thinking the same thing. I am shooting the RCBS version sub-sonic in the 32Mag so a couple of PB would have been a good idea.

Now that I've had a chance to cast a few hundred boolits with this mould, I'm even more impressed with the workmanship. The boolits fall right out except for the second cavity it take a several tap on the handle hinge to dislodge it. I love the little bottle of lube that comes with this mould, it's great stuff. I've cleaned the mould again and will see if it makes any difference next casting session.

I would prefer .311, but sizing down .314 to .310 shouldn't hurt. I've got some on my .311'a drying from a bath in 40-40-20 TL to shoot w/o the GC.

Well, did the heat & cool routine during the week and finally got to cast some boolits today. First half-hour wrinkley boolits whilst I had three moulds going, two RCBS 7mm 145gr and my new NOE 30cal 165gr.
Not until I stopped using the two RCBS moulds did I get the NOE up to heat (pot @ 700 degrees) and perfect boolits. I found I had to spray the moulds twice with brake cleaner during the heat up phase and dry with a cotton bud, although I am sure the heat had already evaporated any liquid, before the perfect boolits started dropping from the mould. Three of the five fall out without tapping and two are a little sticky. Still I found this with my two previous moulds from NOE also that the more use they got the easier the fall-out.
After I got it up to heat I was able to get back to using three moulds again. Looks as if a hot plate my be in the future to speed up the heat-up of the mould.
Still to weigh and measure to see just how close to the RCBS mould these boolits are. Thanks for another beautiful mould.
