A RoHM, made in Germany, Single Action/Double Action .....SADAA (Single Action Double Action Army?????)

Looks just like a SAA, but it will shoot DA.

Saw it at my local gun shop and just had to have it. Cost me a whole $50. I took it completely apart and coated it with KG GunKote in Semi Flat Black (SigSauer Black)

Its actually a very good shooter with mild 38spl loads.

All the RoHM revolvers I ever saw had steel sleeves for the rifling and chambers of the cylinders. They eroded around the sleeves after a lot of firing.

Hope this helps.

I would keep the loads MILD I think the first 22 LR pistol I had was a Rohm I know it was german made and it was junk It shoot loose after a few boxes of shells. Fortunately I was able to talk them into taking it back. It was pretty easy after they found out I was 19 and not 21.

I think the guns are mostly zinc or soft aluminum, so keep the loads really, really mild.

I agree with everybody else about quality. Just keep loads on the light side or normal pressure and you will probably be ok. The Germans usually build quality stuff. They got a little slack on these.

That's an RG and it's made of cast pot metal. I wouldn't shoot it and I dang sure wouldn't reload anything for it. Recovered many RGs back in the day as a cop off BGs, crime scenes, etc.
