Snap Caps Question

I was thinking of buying some snap caps to break in the action on my SRH without having to shoot hundreds of rounds through it. How long do the brass A Zoom snap caps typically last?

What a boring way to mistreat a fine playtoy. :popcorn:

My 38 special a-zoom snapcaps have on been hit about 25 times each and they all show a dent similar to a fired primer.....my guess is that they will be pretty denteee when you are done "shooting".

Take 6 pieces of brass fired in that gun clean the primer pockets good then fill with silicone
or hot melt glue then trim flush with a razer blade. Home made snap caps
