helllo i am shooting a gp 100 6" barrel it was loaded with the ranch dog tlc359175 propelled by 10gn of 2400. what i found interesting is those with a plain base were not as accurate as those that were designed for a gas check but shot without the gas check

I think we need more information to make any assumption. How big were the groups? At what range? How many groups were fired? During what conditions?

What else changes when you leave off the check?

How did you remove the check shank from the mold?

when i purchased the mold i had some cut with gas check and some without

Did you shoot the un-checked first? Both groups are not that great. Try it with a rest and shoot the plain bases first.
