Since I have figured out this image hosting thing, I just thought yall would like to see the pics of the 3rd largest hog killed on our property. The first is my buddy Lee and I with the hog and the second is Lee and my Dad. My cotton scale bottoms out at 350 and it did bottom quick, so no real accurate weight was able to be taken. Lee and my Dad both say that hog easily went over 400 and I say it was over 450. All I know is Lee and I were pretty beefed and I was fresh out of the military, so fitness wasn't an issue and it took both of us to pull that hog onto the deck of a shredder. Then the hog was too long to fit inside the pickup bed with the tailgate up. And that was a 8 foot bed!

Good morning
Thanks for the photos.. it can be a challenge the first time going.
Give Trooper Lee a "Well done" from me. That is one big chunk of meat.
I have a 50# Bear down here with me & nothing to launch shafts at within a few hours(legally) . But a recurve is my first hunting choice up north in Illinois...

Thanks, guys. Lee is actually a member here. I cant remember if his handle is "inkedbylee" or "littletonink". I told him I was posting this, I just had to brag on him and his hog. Lee says everyone who sees his hog skull asks if it was a dragon or something because of the tusks.

Yes, we do. Deer can be a bit small down south but the hawgs are plentiful and usually tasty. Sometimes even a hog the size of Lee's makes good eating. Last time I shot one near that big the processing was a waste of money and spices. Tossed out well over 100lbs of sausage. Hope his works out better.
Big hog euro mounts are puzzling for folks who haven't seen them before. Pretty ferocious-looking.
