450 bottom O-ring

RATS...blow the bottom ring out on my Lyman 450.
I will order some from Lyman, but some where on here I saw some ways to help stop that......To the hunt.:-(

Bring the old O-ring* with you to NAPA, Home Depot, or Lowes, etc. as I think you'll find a replacement there.

Yeah! Just last night I went to a smaller Hardware store and they sell them by the piece. I needed the ones for the 4500, on the plunger thing that squishes lube down the reservoir... but only 35 cents each! Can't beat it! -Brad

I cut a gasket & placed under both of my 450s.

cardboard will work ,but an old innertube works better .

I had the same problem with my 450. A thin piece of cardboard cut to fit solved the problem.
