Anyone know if the stock of any other bolt action rimfire rifle will come close to fitting a Norinco JW-15 rifle? I'm looking for a larger, i.e., "fullsize" stock and can't locate anything at the traditional suppliers.

I'm quite surprised.
What must you have for a stock? My 15 came with a stock I would describe as Man Size. I'm 6' x240lbs and I wouldn't want / could not use a larger stock. If any stocks ,at all, are available, wouldn't they be a standard size?
It's a puzzle.

Mine also came with a full size stock. I would not want it any bigger..........Terry

Well, I took a tape measure to it and it measures just shy of 28" end to end, with a 13.5" trigger pull.

My Rem 700 and my Husky both measure 31". Laying them next to each other the butt stock end on the Norinco is distinctly narrower looking with a shorter grip area.

I picked it up used and it has a two finger size compressed area on the forearm with a semi-solid stain and Remington type polyurethane finish. Definately not appealing.

I don't know... it just feels like a small 22 when handling it.

I would think the stock for the CZ would "probably" work since the Norinco is a copy of the CZ

Your's must be altered, mine has a wide forend and no grooves on the fat forarm aera. The wrist is overly fat also. I don't have mine handy but I know I always thought I'd trim mine up some if I used it for hunting.

You can buy fancier dress up stocks for the JW-15, I think Great American Gunstocks used to carry them. One will probably cost more than the rifle did new.
