Howdy Guys,
I didn't have a clue where to post this so here it is.\
I have the chance to get some Socom 62gr 5.56 chrome plated bullets these are pulled bullets with very light marks if any. These are used with specail force's, navy seals, ect.
They would be $20.00 per 100 plus the cheapest I can ship them.
I havn't bought these yet because I still have 2000 - 5.56 tracers.
I realy don't know how to do this, maybe pm me??

I have never heard of chrome plated bullets to be shot, only for display purposes. I would think the hard chrome would not be good for your barrel.

Cherokee,
That is exactly what I thought so I ask, I should of know better but I am getting old, the nickle is a Wash so it is soft. They were designed to be more accurate that the Mil Spec norm bullets!! All those groups shoot shorter barrels then the rest of our forces, they say a shot threw a windshield is a kill instead of taking several, the nickle washed bullet don't deflect like most FMJ 5.56 do.
I have not bought these yet and may not?? I can't afford to buy them and not be able to sale most of them.

20 buck a 100 is pretty steep for jacketed 22 bullets. Factory fresh are much cheaper than that for most.
I also have never found military 62 grain stuff to be the mot accurate around.

These are Mk318 Mod 0 if you want to check them out, yeah not the best round for paper but then again they weren't made to punch holes in paper .

gcollins was just wondering if you had a source of virgin bullets verses the pulled ones

If I am spending that much for a bullet I would look for 69 grain matchkings.
