Need some input on a real gem of a find. I recently bought some molds from an older gentleman from the gunclub I used to shoot at. One of the real scores was this mold. Now I did just a quick search before starting this thread, so if I'm asking a previously answered question, forgive me.

Now my initial load will be to try it in my 14" 30-30 barreled Contender. Target use in my 308 is pretty much a certainty aswell. My alloy will likely be either WW with a little tin or a WW/range 50-50.

I was digging thru an old Ideal Handbook(#34) an though I couldn't find this particular mold, I was reading about the Pope-designed 308403. Do the Loverin designs have tapered bands aswell?

Any help is appreciated.

Mine dont. But you might cast a few and measure them.

Do you size yours? Pan ? Tumble?

Thanks

I size them .3015, give them 2 wraps of 16# paper, lube, run through a .309 push through die and load them like jacketed.
