Question for Brits on shipping/import
Earlier this year I presented one of my very good friends with a refurbished 1875 Martini-Henry Gahendra. I did it myself after getting it from IMA. The firing pin is broken, and since i knew he'd never fire it I didn't fix it.
He is British and recently decided it was time to move back to Britain after many years away. He'd like to bring the M-H of course.
I know in the US it's not a firearm due to age and caliber. So my question is: what are the considerations for him bringing this old gun home to England? Is it permissible and what declarations or paperwork are necessary?
Many thanks! Alex

Try contacting this member as I believe he is a dealer residing in England.

I don't think Adam will be back until the end of this week. Try a PM to him, so he catches the question.
