Anyone using either the 45-270K or the 45-290K in their Ruger BH? I'm thinking of ordering a mold and was looking for some feedback. Looking for a boolit in the 280 gr range. Any other suggestions welcome. Thanks.

I just had Tom draw up the 290K last week
so I doubt anyone has the mold other than me
just ordered it as well
as far as the other can't comment

I have an Accurate mold for my 38-55. All I can say is that it is possibley the best mold I have ever had. I think it may even cast better than my Hoch mold. I can recommend accurate molds.

White Eagle,
What size are they dropping from the mold? With my Ruger I need a boolit at .455 to fit the throats.

I don't have the mold yet
Tom just drew up the profile
you can specify what size you want and
Tom will cut it for you

GSaltzman drop Tom a email he has awesome customer service he will even answer emails on the weekend. as white eagle said he will cut it any size you want and answer every question you have. If you are wanting a mold like that and want before next spring Tom is the only way to go usual time is 3 weeks is what he quotes but more often than not it is sooner than that

I have two of Tom's molds, one 38-55 type and a 32-40. They are the best molds I have and worth every dime they cost. The beauty is you specify what diam you want. The 32-40 mold was my own design and was still delivered faster than quoted.

I've got three of Tom's molds, they are superb. He'll cut it however you want it and IME, it'll be just as you request.
