Here is a prototype single shot that David started in 2004. Caliber is .40 / 1 7/8" sharp straight.

Interesting, looks like it a combination Hepburn/Borschardt style falling block, can't tell from the photo.

Beautiful rifle. Is it stainless or plated that color? I would prefer blue, but I did not pay to have it built. Beautiful.

The rifle pictured is 17-4 stainless with stainless K-P barrel that I drilled and reamed when I worked for K-P Gun Company. The next Prototype rifle planned will be made of AISI-SAE 8620 to be colorcased with Krieger AISI-SAE 4140 barrel. The barrel will be rust blued chamered in 470NE and the rifle will be stocked with English walnut.
