I decided to buy my Ruger convertible 45 some new clothes.

Bearpaw does a "gunfighter" style grip, or as he calls them an EIG, ergonomic improved grip. These are the best feeling grips I have ever used, this is my second pair and I'll most likely have Bearpaw grips on all of my Rugers eventually.

I'm a happy camper, these grips just came in todays mail. I have always like Buckeye Burl, and these are no exception.

Bill, not only can you hang onto it, but she stays on target better. Yes there is still some roll, but it's a tame roll. With the grips wide at the top the recoil is more of a shove than a slap, if that makes any sense. Second shots are faster, more importantly, they're on target better.

Thanks ya'll, I'm really proud of these grips, and the other set I got from him for my Horvath Blackhawk:

The ivory Buckeye Burl on those Horvath Blackhawk grips is exceptional, and on a medium frame Blackhawk they really do exactly what you want them to do, they help absorb recoil, they help reduce roll, and they keep you on target better, faster. If you're a SASS shooter, it would behove you to consider Bearpaw for your grips. I'm not getting any kickback or % off, I'm just this pleased with how well these grips fit and feel.

I'm about as jaded as the next guy when it comes to the next best thing, but these grips really are something special. I've spent my money the same as the next guy would on these, I plan on spending more of my money on these for the rest of my Ruger Blackhawks. Take it as you want it, these grips are the real deal for fit and feel, and function.

I've got a set of those on the .44 flattop anniversary in walnut, that design is all that and a bag of chips.
Those are some nice looking grips.

Robert, JB Wilson is the man behind these Bearpaw grips. I have asked his permission to post his contact info, he has but one request from all who may be interested. Patience. This is a busy time of year for him, with cutting corn and beans, bow hunting and teaching his grand kids how to bow hunt, SASS, church and family his time is limited. Grip making isn't his full time job.
He can be reached at (bearpawgrips at cablerocket dot com) email address is broken up to prevent spam bots from using it.
