Source for H & G 8-10 cav Sprue Plates

Have a friend who is looking for sprue plates for 8 and 10 cavity Hensley and Gibbs molds. Wants approx. 10 of each. Anyone know of a source?

They bought the H&G brand and as near as I can tell, (I own one of each ) they are identical.

I just got a sprue plate for an 8 cavity from Ballisti-Cast. ... Very reasonable cost.
New owner is Bill Sand, his son is Mike. Both are decent to deal with. Their contact # is 701-352-1164.

I think I would talk to some of the machinists on this forum about making some, unless he is doing this for resale. Still might not make a difference since they will be Ballisticast and not H&G.

Within the last year I have received two molds from Ballisti-cast. The #920 200 grain gas check for my 336 in 35 Rem and 220 grain TC bullet for the 45 acp and colt.

Beautiful molds, although I have not started the winter casting season and have yet to try them. I will post a report once I do.

Man, I miss Wayne Gibbs. He made a custom mold for me, back in 78, so that I could have a 230 gr version of the famous #68 swc in .45 ACP.

Ballisti-Cast sells the original H&G 8 and 10 cavity sprue plates. We have a large quantity left over from when the mold line was purchased from Wayne Gibbs, so they are actually the original and not an identical one we manufactured.

I ordered a 6 cav sprue plate and a set of handles for a very reasonable price.
I have not received them yet but I am sure shipping is slow due to the holidays.
