Ciao to all.
I will buy a Winchester .30M1 carbine but I have heard some stories that the cast boolits used in that carbine, after about 100 - 150 rounds, can obstruct the gas hole plug. Someone have experiences on this?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I have used cast in M1 Garand (30'06) without getting plugged and I have used 32-20 boolit in my 30 carbine in the past without issue.

I have a Winchester M1 carbine and have 1000's of hard cast 120 grain boolits thru it, can't recall any problems.

These aren't full cast but shoot good in my IBM ;)

I've shot lots of cast boolits in my M-1 carbines. Never had a problem. Would recommend at least 15BHN for your alloy. I like gas checks on my boolits.
