Hex receiver Mosin's at Bud's

I just ordered one from Bud's $139.99 its on the way to my FFL guy.

Wonder what kind of bore you'll get -my M-38 was counter bored at muzzle - shot ok but my friend bought a M44 which was made after WW2 and has an excellent bore.

Be a few weeks before I can shoot it but like you my 31 is counterbored but my 44 isn't both shoot fine. Maybe the FFL guy will let me take some pictures when I go over to fill out the paperwork.

wish I could find a 38 that wasn't so over priced to afford. :mrgreen::mrgreen::roll: my M-44 and the 2 91-30's we have aren't counter bored. :)
