If you cast a bullet and size it down, how big is too big????
I beagled a mold and the bullet are bigger and i wondered if these may be too big and cause a problem in the barrel, like pressure? I have a 309 and a 310 sizer die, but,as dumb as i am,i forgot the size the bullets came out! This was due to having to go to work. I am just looking for a close idea.

Need more info, like type of gun, cartridge name, exact groove dimensions, etc. in order to give any advice.

Generally a rule of thumb is if it's a lead alloy, if you can chamber it it's safe to shoot it. You may or may not find accuracy, but the size of the boolit will not blow up the gun! Lead and it's alloys are too soft to accomplish that.

I sized to .309 or .311, so for me I don't like to start any bigger than .313.

I mostly wind up mushing the boolit if it's any bigger and then it is deformed and don't shoot well.
