Roundball mold to big...........

Gday fellas and girls,
Got myself a roundball mold that is about about 21 mm and would love to somehow produce a 18 mm roundball out of it. Was hoping that some of you mob would have some ideas ..............

how big in "inches" is 21mm?

21mm is .8268" and 18mm is .7087".
It would be a nice trick to make a smaller ball! :holysheep

None that I can think of. If you were to mill off half of the amount you want gone from each of the mould inside faces it would hardly be a round ball anymore.

Eighteen to twenty one is quite a bit. My brother shoots a .646 ball through a .626 bore, but that's only what, a half a millimeter or so? He just let's the bore size the ball down. Don't know if that would help you or not.

Try washing it real hot,then put it in a hot drier. Should shrink it considerably. Worked on a pair of my wool pants, anyhow.

You're looking to cast .709". Lyman makes .715" and .735" RB moulds.
