I had an opportunity to pick up a 10" Monson made, stainless, DW .41mag in excellent condition for $700. I was kind of surprised at how much it hurt to have to turn it down. I have been wishing for something like this for quite a while (although with a 6" or maybe an 8" barrel).

Alas, tires on wifey's car took precedence, so I had to tell him to put it back up for sale. It would likely be Christmas before I'd be able to stash away that kind of cash. [smilie=b:

Hopefully my luck will change soon and I'll be able to sneak something special into the Christmas stocking this year.

I know where you're at. It was spring for me when my wife's F150 got a grands' worth of new tires. It brings new light to "foresaking all others". I really didn't understand at the time that meant gun deals.

Not a DW, but I really like my stainless Ruger SBH Hunter in 41 mag. Very accurate gun and with a scope mounted out on the barrel rib recoil is reduce a bunch. These are going for $400 to $500 around here.
