Maxi-ball and sabot

Anybody ever tried a 45cal maxi-ball in a 50 cal sabot for deer? Just a thought. Wondering how it would do for accuracy and knock down power.

I don't know how it would fit because, the .45 Maxi is .440 and .44 pistol bullets are .429-.430. The .45 pistol bullets are .451-.452. Its worth a try though. I'd try it in a sabot for .451-.452 bullets. It might work good in a tight bore.
