View Full Version : 2 inch travel indicator
I finally got my 2 inch travel indicator cost was $32.00.:-)
I wanted a 3 inch but the cost was about $100.
$70.00 for 1 extra inch seemed high. :groner:

That's the set-up I use. For doing barrel work, the 2" travel will do it all. Just slide the block/indicator up against the carriage, set it where you want, and go!
It's great for threading, I can't use a DRO when threading, those numbers just flash too quick for me. I set the indicator to zero where I want to stop, and watching the dial is easy!

With the cheaper indicators, I've found the plunger spring will kink up some and may hang up in that tube sometimes. Just watch for it, it may never happen.
Its a Wards-Logan
