He stops off at some random yard sale on the way down to my grandmothers 90th birthday party and talks to the salees neighbor. Next thing I know he's calling says he bought a couple of Cap & ball pistols 36&44 Navy's and a auto ............shotgun,some oak 1x,a tire machine, and needs a hand to go get them. Ok sure I'll go.

On our way to Independence Ca he says I think your Mom will like shooting that A5. Wait what A5?oh the auto that came w/the pistols. So we load up the yard sale treasures and go next door for the guns. The guy hands us a hard case we flip it open sure enough 2 pistols and a Humpback Browning. Back safe in Nevada we get it out. Its a Belgian 3" magnum. I'd be mad at him except i'm an only child and he didn't even hesitate at $250 when the guy gave him 2 cases of shells to go w/it.

They are but a few compared to the rest of society.

Would you rather be goverened by dumb luck than street smarts?

As far as governors go there are a bunch out there that must be super dumb lucky,or so dumb they're lucky to have lived long enough to govern.

I was dumbfounded ................in a good sort of way. There are some things about that would put off a collector ,but they are great since we bought it as a shooter. The action is worn totally to the white outside, the bbl is cut w/ Brilley's installed. I do like the way it soaks up ounce and a half magnums too.

There's 2 boxes of 1 7/8 oz #4s and 3 ea of 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 4,5,6s. 1 box of 3" 20ga 5s. No idea what to do w/ all those pre -steel duck and goose loads. We do have a healthy Blue/Roughed grouse population and a season for sage hen, 3 to 10 lbs on the wing.
