I bought the book by John Hinnant years ago. It's been the book on action jobs and fitting barrels for decades. It includes drawings on tools needed for the actions. How to make the spider and mandrel to hold the recievers. How to grind the cutting tools.

Great book-well written-easy to follow

But it's pretty much for bolt actions
