I must say that this new Marlin is probably
the most accurate gun I own
I can not believe the accuracy I get with this gun w/iron sights [smilie=w:
I am using a Hoch n/p mold that drops a 440 gr boolit
it is mind boggling that a boolit that big can be delivered so precisely
will post pics when I get them
they must have gotten the bugs worked out over at Marlin [smilie=s:

I like the pistol grip on the new rifle better than my old Guide Gun. Glad to hear the new gun is doing as well as the old one. I know several people that own one, each is very accurate.

I have the GBL and my BIL has the straight stocked with porting. I like the pistol grip and non ported better. I can't tell that the porting really does any good at the loads I use. (1500 fps with 460420)

I am out of front sight
do any of you know where I could get a taller
front sight or if I were to shim the front sight up
how much stock would a guy put under it ?
just a guess .010-.020 ?

I use the Skinner Guide Gun Set on my Guide Gun. The front sight that comes with it is really tall so you file it to the height you need.
