Anybody own one of these single action convertibles? Wife wants to get me a birthday present and Buds has these cheap.

they aren't a ruger and fanning the hammer is not a good idea as the the metal isnt as high a grade as most other guns. that being said they are fun guns for plinking and small game hunting if you get the target sighted one. Kinda hard to beat for the price. If your wanting to do more serious shooting, I'd get a ruger though.

get a Ruger. You won't

I like mine and my son likes it too as he has had it borrowed for more than a year. I did reshape the grip panels to a more comfortable shape.

I had mine for about a year, sold it to the bartender for fifty bucks, bought a ruger single six and am much happier, MUCH.[smilie=1:

Bartenders do get some good buys on guns.
