Puff Balls! Found a football sized one couple days ago. Cut up thin, sauteed in butter(gotta clog up them arteries some way:-P) Yum!
Goes great as an extender for a can of mushroom soup, too ..... Lee

Mushroom season will arrive here right after the first few rains.

Fall just gone I was riding the MTB through the pine forest and the mushrooms etc were amazing. We had a stretch of warm, wet weather and the colours were fantastic. Most would have likely killed you but boy they looked good. Must carry the camera for next autumn.
