Are you interested in books other than those that are gun related? Novels? History? Biographies? Non Fiction? Science Fiction? Mysteries?

Here are some places to get online books. Download to your computer, and read at your leisure, of print them out, if you have lots of paper and ink!

I understand.

My current favorite fiction author is James Lee Burke. Teddy Roosevelt is always an excellent biographical subject. Len Deighton wrote a nine-book Cold War spy series -- each can be read as a stand-alone book. Stephen Ambrose's Undaunted Courage, about the Lewis and Clark expedition was very educational, and, of course, there is always his Band of Brothers.

What, sir, was your profession, your hobbies, your interests? Since you ask about a reading list I assume you were a reader. What books do you find around the house?

yep I was a fed agent(game warden),and retired Military police SSG records show I served as a Airborne Ranger for threes years back in the late sixties then was reclassed to being a MP,I did read a lot,I shot on the Army pistol team for about 4 years, won a internatiol small bore match in Germany back in the early80's, wish I could remember better detail, most of the books I have around the house are shooting and fishing,my folks have already passed away so that doesn't leave any body to answer the question I have about my life, like what high school did I attend??

Sounds like you need to find people who knew you as much as you need a reading list. I'm not on Facebook but it may be a place where you can announce yourself and ask who knows you, went to school with you, shot with you, etc. Be careful not to give your addy or any contact information that would allow someone to find you. Set up a gmail or some other type e-mail addy for the contact info if you go beyond Facebook's contact stuff.
