Originally I had this made for a long pistol barrel as it is 18".
But right now I didn't have a spare pisol scope for it, so I set it up as a carbine.
Since I can't shoot long guns for awhile, I will go ahead and load up some starting loads and let my 12 yr. old son play around with it, as it will be his anyhow in the future. And I'm sure he will feel more comfortable shooting it as a carbine rather than a pistol.
Not really the forend I had in mind, but it'll work for his smaller hands anyhow. Then later I will modify a standard TC rifle forend for it.
