I was casting some 200gr .431 boolits out of a lee mold and noticed that I was not getting full fill out until the mold got hot enough to produce frosty boolits. I was running the pot at 700 degrees. I know frosty boolit are not a bad thing but I would like to make nice shiney ones also. I was wondering if I should just turn the pot up or through some more tin in the mix. How much tin is needed to allow me to turn the heat down or at least keep the mold cooler?
Thanks Tim.

1% tin's often plenty to improve mould fillout.

You don't state the alloy you are running.

If it is wheel weight you may have some zinc in the mix causing this. Try the tin as per "Ricochet" and if that doesn't work try adding some more lead alloy you are sure is free of nasties in order to dilute any potential contaminates.
