If anyone would care to open up the body of 2 lee 32-20 full length sizing dies for me I would greatly appreciate it, and would pay for your time. I and some other cowboy silhouette shooters are tired of over working our brass and would love to just neck size them. If I can find someone to do it, I guess I would ask Lee Precision to send two new 32-20 full length sizing dies directly to you. Any suggestions would also be appreciated. Thanks!

Why not just short size them? Anything that doesn't get the shoulder will have virtually the same effect. Alternatively, size the neck only with a straight wall die, say .32S&W.

I tried to have LEE make a collet die for the 32-20, but their collet die will only work with a case length no shorter than the .22hornet, because of the slits in the collet

I greatly modified a 7.62 x 39 die set to load 32-20, a lathe is required..

If you want the pictures of how I did it, PM and I'll send them to your personal email, 6-7 picture IIRC and I don't want to take up the bandwidth on this site, or I would just post them

Try using a 32 H&R Mag carbide die. No lube needed.

short sizing is what I wanted to do, but the body of the case starts to be sized within the first 1/2" of insertion, way before the neck has been touched. Im going to try a .32 straight walled carbide die , that was a great idea, Thanks!!

How bout a lyman 310 sizing die for 32-20. Pretty sure they are only neck sizers. Find youself a set of handles and a set of 310 dies for 32-20.

Or pick up TrueLine Jr off eBay. The last couple I saw went cheap.

Bore out the die to the base of the neck. Maybe a taper pin reamer?

on the 310 die they make an adapter to screw into your 7/8 threads of your press so that they can be used.

Looks like C & H tool and die can make you a neck sizing die too. Looks like about $29 or so
