Cramer style denotes a type of hollow point pin used in a mold.

Ideal and later Lyman used a pin that pulled out the bottom of the mold and had the typical drawer pull style handle to them.

Cramer used a captive pin that slid outward from the body on 2 pins that kept it captive and level.

The Cramer method was easier to use as the pins stayed roughly the same temp as the rest of the mold and less action was required to remove boolits after casting. It also allowed for multiple cavities of a mold to be HPed unlike the Ideal style.
