The large primer pocket reamer is not removing the crimp completely , anyone else have this problem?

Same with my RCBS unit. I don't think these things are geared or powered for this task !

My error was not immediately boxing the unit up and sending it to RCBS with a letter of my disappointment.

Send to Lyman ,maybe they can remedy the unit.

Yes,

I have never had a primer pocket reamer that consistently removes all crimps.

Use a 5/16 drill bit in your electric drill and touch the crimp very lightly to the tip of the spinning bit. You will spoil two or three until you get the feel of it but you will find it much quicker and more effective. For small primers, use a 1/4" bit.

I use a countersink bit in a drill press. Hold the brass 7 at a time. Goes real quick.

milprileb, power is not the problem, the Lyman unit has enough power, the cutter is undersized.
The 20 year old hand tool works fine.
I suspect it is the conversion to metric measuring units from American inch units to make the parts in China.
