I finally got around to shooting some of www.leadandbrass.com alloy today. Had some serious back surgery on Aug 24 but am much better now and getting to do stuff like shoot. No chrongraph data yet, used the 270SAA mold and their alloy straight. Had to turn up the heat to 690F for it to cast well. The alloy is soft and looks great.
Started loading WC 820 (lot 47320) Rem 2 1/2, Starline case.
22 grains was about three inches@ 25
22.5 the same
23 started to tighten up
23.5 was almost good
24 was excellent.
Now I will load some test ammo, probably a hundred rounds. These were shot in my 32" twist 5.5 inch Blackhawk, will also shoot some in my 4 5/8 Bisquero. Both of these guns have my redesign of the Bisley grip frame to fit my paws.
I absolutly recomend their alloy.

I have been casting using their alloy since I started out casting earlier this year. They are local to me (I shoot at their range and buy face to face). Good people and good product. It's recovered range lead. They had a sample analyzed and they said it came out 98-2-0. I add some monotype and pewter to get an economical 92-4-4 alloy.

I second that recommendation.
