Hello, Anybody own a Pacific deluxe pro reloading press? I have one and was thinking of putting it to use, and was wondering if anybody here has one and can post pics of theres. The press has a 2 inch ram I also have a Baire just like the Pacific I gues Pacific was using there molds or something back then. Just wondering if anybody here puts there to good use thanks!

I would clean them but not repaint. Repainting really decreases collector value.
the value of these older Pacific's from the late 60's is beginning to increase.

Brownells Desolve and a Rubbermaid product for degreasing work well though caution is required as they DO effect the paint. A good scrubbing with these products and a toothbrush then rinse throughly in very hot water will leave a dirty press looking like new. Oil all exposed metal immeadiatly.

I have been following presses for over 40 yrs and I missed that Pacific press and I am / was
a Pacific fan !

That is one heck of a press! Looks to be a great well engineered design and sadly out of production.

Is it the same as the BAIR you have?

Got 3: I would say you are living right !

@milprileb Yeah the bair is exactly the same it just says baire kodiak 150. One that is not pictured I cleaned up down a friends house using his tank filled with paint thinner it is cleaned up and ready to be used it has a white handle on it and so does the baire. This one is the rougher looking one. The baire has a set screw that holds the shell holder in place it broke off I have to run a tap to get it out. Yeah I love these kind of O looking presses I really wish they didn't stop making these!

Pacific made two versions of this press. Cast iron with swing arm linkage and aluminum with their traditional upstroke linkage.

This one was not a real big seller and did not get carried over to the Bair line.

I wonder if the ram diameter is the same as the deluxe pro?

Yes, the ram and primer arm are interchangable.

I just bought a Pacific super mag three position for $150. It has been repainted John Deere green. Looks like I'm loading with farm machinery : )
I am reading that you need proprietary shell holders that are really the whole ram on the Pacifics? Someone wrote that there are replacement rams available that will allow standard shell holders to be used. Does anyone know where to get these?

Joe the Super mag was made to use standard snap in shellholders. Older Pacific's made prior to 1956 use the ram as the shellholder. Yours was made after 1961. Sorry about the John Deere green. If it were mine I would repaint it Massey Harris red.
