i am able to collect lead from and indoor range that I smelt down to use in casting my boolits....
question is (maybe it has been covered) is: do I need to add any ww's to it or is it good to go as is?
I shoot a 45LC with light loads, 230gr boolit
thanks

For light loads you should be fine. This is assuming that the boolits are of the proper size.
Good luck,
Ron

The same question was asked few days ago:

As I said in that thread, the scrap I get from an indoor range is probably 50% .22's, 25% jacketed and 25% commercial cast. It casts beautifully as is and when quenched from the mold, it hardens up just like WW (to my very unscientific scratch tests).
I just spent a couple hours in the shed with that alloy this morning and have another 32 pounds of Lee 452-228-1R to add to my stash.
