Scope question

Setting up a beater gun/brush gun on the cheap...have a TC Hawkens Hunter fixed 4X that I thought I might throw on a Marlin 336 .35 cal Question I have is do you all think it will stand up to the recoil?

Please save the comments about scope A or B. If I had the money, I would buy a scope, or a peep site or whatever. I am limited to optics on hand so please try to keep the responses on point

I own 2 TC scopes and doubt that recoil will be an issue for the scope.
If I would ever have had issues with the first scope I would not have bought the second.

I have used scopes that some folks have thrown out because they were not pricey enough.
I have an old redfield on my 41 marlin and it works well and I have others on several 22 rifles.
It should hold up ok methinks.
