Burris 2X - flea market price - didn't buy

I was at the big swappers meet in Johnstown Oh yesterday. Found a used Burris 2X with the duplex crosshairs (thinner in the middle), and had the adjustment screws you adjust with a dime. Scope was clear, cross hairs didn't seem loose. My question is I could have picked up this scope for $135. Was that the average price and could I have done better on the price?. I'm looking for a handgun scope for my contender, and I have no clue as to what are good prices for handgun scopes. never bought one, was never in the market for one ..... until now. I didn't want to overpay yesterday ....

I think I paid $100 shipped for the last one I just bought from a member here. It was NOS, never been mounted. There good little scopes, I think you'd be fine at $135, since you wouldn't have to pay tax and shipping.

Natchez Shooters supply has a blemished Burris 2X for $140.

I bought a Burris 2X7 Ballistic Plex from them last year and really like it.
