I want to have screw-in chokes installed in my REM 1100 LT 28 ga. Who have you folks used for choke installation and what was your experience with them? I see several places that do this work and prices seem to be fairly competitive.

There was an outfit in Kansas that did it some time back but I can't find their ad anywhere so I don't know if they are still in business or not.

Actually, I would rather find a factory barrel already set up but they are insanely expensive, at least the ones I have found for sale.

Greetings One of the reasons the work costs so much is the tooling costs. 15 years ago I bought the tooling to do thin wall barrels (double shotguns) & it was quit an investment back then. If a person is doing numerous barrels the cost is spread over the quantity. Today most barrels are already threaded so the market it slowly dwindeling.

I'll second Mike Orlen. He has done several choke tube installaions for me, and his work is absolutely first rate.
