double round ball or triple?

Has anyone played with these around 900 to 1100 fps? 12,20, and 16 gauge? Thinking of less than 30 yards for defense and hogs?

Are you reffering to full bore RB or smaller than bore size ?
I cannot imagine any critter under 500 pounds that could absorb one well placed 50/50 .685 rb at 1500 fps and still cause much of a ruckas. This load will smash through the thick neck armor of a 20 foot plus croc and snap the well insulated neck bone in half. Only better load I know of is the full bore .735 at 1500+ fps. I use the .685 here in Peru because I have the mold and this .685 diameter will drop into a Winchester field load 12 guage shell without any fuss and poke along at 1250 fps but will due in anything I have ever plowed it with.

12 gauge, 21-23 grains unique in a wa11214 wad tapered hull shoots wonderful. it likes 21 grain better
